In most contexts that expect or allow the name of an object, the word me represents the enactor (in command contexts) or the executor (in function contexts).

An implication of this is that me is not allowed as an object name.

Some commands and functions require dbrefs and may or may not understand me.

Note that, in most cases, softcode using me will refer to the object the code is on, not to the person or object using it.
