When set on an object, the object will grow eyes and ears and relay everything it sees and hears to its owner. Objects with the PUPPET flag are often used to represent pets and NPC's.
In PennMUSH (and other servers?), a Puppet does not relay to its owner if they are in the same location, unless the Puppet is also set VERBOSE.
